Demographic processes in the context of sociological research

Abstract

The authors give an overview of the concepts that explain the causes of the demographic transformation. Based on the results of sociological research, they emphasize that family life remains in the minds of most people's natural way of life. Respondents focused primarily on the family based on marriage and raising two or more children. For today's young people the family is also one of the most important values. At the end of the article, the authors conclude that it is necessary to build an effective demographic policy aimed at preserving the family as the basic social and demographic unit of society.
