Quality of life indicators of students of the medical faculty

Abstract

The aim of this article is to describe the quality of life of students of the Medical Faculty of the North-Western State Medical University named after I. I. Mechnikov. The authors analyze following specifi c indicators: subjective evaluation of physical, psychological and social well-being, motivational and axiological sphere of educational activity, and attitudes towards the learning environment at the university. The positive and negative aspects are revealed. The results can be used to develop recommendations for optimizing the quality of life of students. Additionally, the article provides basic recommendations that take into account the specifi city of train-ing in a particular higher education institution.
