Abstract

A comparative analysis of the use of traditional and innovative methods of overcoming addictions that affect the mental and psychosomatic health of the individual, family and society is given. Particular attention was paid to the virtual scanning programme "Strannik" and the results of 15 years of work by this method. The author presents arguments to prove the benefits of new technologies: their availability, noninvasiveness, cost and operational efficiency.
