Maintenance and strengthening of coognitive functionss in the elderly through the use of specialized equipmentt "PERTRA"

Abstract

The development of fine motor skills is closely related to speech and mental function. This can be clearly seen in the development of the child. In older people, the functions of thinking, memory, and speech directly depend on the skills of the smallest hand movements, so this direction in the work of a psychologist with older people is very important. In addition, the practice of occupational therapy plays an important role in the prevention of dementia and in the rehabilitation of post-stroke conditions in older people. The regular training also allows not only to preserve vitality of mind, but also to improve quality of life in general. For these purposes, a set of psychologist "PERTRA" is perfect. The results of the work have practical significance: the obtained data make it possible to conclude on the importance of applying such practices in the field of correction and maintenance of cognitive disorders.
