The author analyzes how the various attitudes affect the self-esteem and level of claims, the emotional expression of 3-4-year-old children, their understanding of emotions and the ability to explain the appearance of emotions, to find causal relationships in changing emotional states, their motivational conditioning. The article shows that the prohibition on the manifestation of emotions, lack of attention to children's experience, the lack of mutual respect for one or another emotional state between an adult and a child, the lack of dialogue and explanation of events and relations negatively affect the emotional and personal development of a younger pre-school child.
