Personal factors of sociocultural rehabilitation of the visually impaired people

Abstract

The article presents and analyzes empirical study data of such personal factors as self-esteem, social attitudes and feelings, motivation, etc. in the context of concepts about socio-cultural rehabilitation of the visually impaired people being one of the major purposeful areas of their social rehabilitation altogether. Personal factors in question determine the process of raising the status of the blind and visually impaired people as subjects to cultural and leisure activities performed with other blind and visually impaired people as well as with those with normal sight.
