Phenomenon of the emotional burnout of a personality: structural and functional analysis

Abstract

Emotional burnout is a long-term stress response that occurs as a result of prolonged occupational stressors of medium intensity. Studies confirmed that the most affected by “burnout” are the representatives of a so-called intellectual and communicative profession: managers, salesmen, consultants, agents, teachers, doctors, journalists, specialists of various social services whose work is associated with great neuropsychic loads.
