Vol. 32 Iss. 2 pp. 114122 | St. Petersburg State Institute of Psychology and Social Work | ISSN: 1993-8101

Abstract

Psychology of occupational health is a direction that is becoming increasingly popular and in-demand today in a variety of areas. The relevance of the topic of the article is primarily due to the high frequency of health psychology problems in modern research, as well as a large number of requests of organizations interested in improving the quality of staff work and health of employees. The article focuses on the most important concepts of this direction, considering both domestic and foreign authors. We are particularly interested in the concept of V. N. Myasishchev, who called his position in the study of personality as bio-psycho-social unity. The scientist identified three levels of consideration of the concept of "health": biological, psychological, social. We have summarized the basic concepts of occupational health and some closely related concepts in this area. Both domestic theories of the concept and the developments of foreign authors are taken into consideration.
