Quality of the newspaper edition: socially-psychological analysis

Abstract

In this article the problem o f quality o f modern newspaper editions which is actual not only fo r the theory and practice o f journalism, but also fo r economical, political, social and medical sciences is investigated from the psychological point o f view. The author offers five-levels model which allows to estimate quality o f newspapers both as material product and social agenda which renders great influence on community. That is why the author selects psycho-physiological, psychological and socially-psychological aspects of quality which include analysis o f such criteria as form al and contentual characteristics o f texts and whole edition, specific o f it's influence on personality and community, psychological features and values o f i t ’s producers etc.
