In the article some results o f a longitudinal research (2005-2008) are considered. This research was held in a gymnasium in St. Petersburg with a purpose to study factors which influenced on development o f social competence o f adolescents. According to the research s results emotional wellbeing, self-concept and communicative attitudes depend on peculiarities o f adolescent crisis and personal traits of pupils as well as on their intellectual abilities.
