Abstract
The authors carry out research into the infl uence of contemporary information-communication technologies on the character and way of satisfaction of cultural needs of the youth. Poll data show that the computer became the integral part of an everyday life for the overwhelming majority of youth, despite accurately traced dependence of level of a computerization on settlement type.
