The orthodox church model of social work with a family and children

The authors present materials of a round-table discussion on «The Orthodox Church model of social work with a family and children» held at St.-Petersburg state institute of psychology and social work (April 21, 2011). During the meeting the representatives of secular establishments and the church parish organizations considered the problems of social and spiritual moral health of a modern Russian family in the context of the Church social concept and discussed the basic directions of the church social work with problem families and disadapted teenagers. Having outlined the pressing problems of parish social work with a family and children the participants proposed ways of their solving.
