Values and social orientations of the youth of Orenburg region

The article presents few results of the regional study aimed at identifying modern problems among youth of Orenburg region. In particular, it revealed signifi cant differences in values and orientations, considerably polarized in different groups of youth in the contemporary society, which indicates the increasing heterogeneity of youth as a single social group. The obtained data allows us to observe the degree of differentiation of modern values within the group of youth, which makes it possible to exercise effective management of the youth policy.
