Psychological characteristics of visually impaired children aged six with different school readiness

Abstract

The article examines the psychological characteristics of visually impaired senior preschool children with different readiness to schooling. Research fi ndings prove the speculation that school readiness among visu-ally impaired children authentically, moderately and positively associates with personal suffi ciency, developed visual and creative thinking, adulthood motives, success, social and learning motivation, while authentically, moderately and negatively — with external, game and negative motivation.
