Abstract

The transition to new education results is mentioned in the Concept of the Federal Target Program on the Development of Education for 2016–2020 and the federal state educational standards as one of the priority areas. Opposite to gaining knowledge and skills, a reorientation towards education results in the form of key competencies (including the social one) takes place. This article thereby analyzes the concept of social competence, its structure, and components. The author suggests that the formation of social competence requires collective forms of education, joint forms of work in the conditions of knowledge transfer in all school subjects, i.e., within the framework of the cognitive aspect.
