Family image in the world picture of children raised in orphanages

Abstract
The article deals with a family image that orphanage children have. There has been little research on this particular topic and our research was carried out in a group of orphans with retarded mental development. As the control group children with the same diagnosis living in families were examined. As a result of this research, recommendations on the essence of psychological help to orphanage children ensuring formation of necessary characteristics of a future family member were formulated.
