On the question of development of innovative approaches in the activity of social service providers

The author analyzed how domestic researchers conceptualize the notion of "social services", and considered the requirements of the Law N 442-FZ related to the activities of providers of such services. The possible types of innovation in this area were defined. The directions of innovative approaches within the activities of providers of social services to senior citizens and disabled people in the city of Novokuznetsk were characterized. The results of the study assessing the interest of the providers in the implementation of innovative approaches are presented.
