Vol. Abstract
The article is devoted to a review of foreign studies of the influence of attachment types in adults on the occurrence of psychosomatic disorders and diseases. The results of these studies indicate that attachment in adults is formed on the basis of child-parent attachment. The analysis allows us to conclude that the type of attachment in adults can be considered as an integral construct that determines individual responses to stress and, as a consequence, the mediating effect of stress on psychosomatic health.
