Abstract

True success in life is discussed through the prism of a harmonious combination of personal achievements and their positive influence on other people, social groups and society as a whole. The typology of the forms of success in life is based on a combination of personal success and its public recognition. The reasons for the predominance of mainly material criteria in the understanding of success by a contemporary person are described.
