Abstract

The article is a theoretical analysis and an attempt to systematize the main scientific research and practical developments in the field of psychological counseling on a professional career. The main historical stages of career counseling development are described. The results of the theoretical analysis of approaches to the content characteristics of the process of psychological counseling on professional career are presented. Principles and objectives of career counseling, main problems of psychological counseling on professional career, and types of career counseling are described.
