The relationship between social health and professional burnout in healthcare workers

Abstract

Results of empirical research of professional burnout and social health in healthcare workers are presented. The interrelation of social health and professional burnout in healthcare workers is revealed. Authors suggest that medical personnel with low extent of burnout have higher rates of harmonious relations with social environment and social maturity of personality. Integrated social and psychological criteria for an assessment of social health were tested in the selected medical staff. The method of social health assessment in healthcare workers is proposed.
