Vol. Abstract
The article is dedicated to a phenomenon of academic failure of gifted children. Modern theoretical conceptions explaining gifted children’s school problems are analyzed, possible practical ways of helping children which are followed from these conceptions are discussed. The author’s experience of practical work with gifted children is described.
